Big thanks to Gary (G Man) for organising the rolling road day at Power Engineerign today.

I'd also like to thank Paul Strong for updating the dyno site, and letting us creating more work for him.

Good to see the new faces and some of the usual ones as well. Sorry I had to leave early, and apologies if I didn't say goodbye!

Although Moe still took the time to sell all his stories to Cossie boys!!

I'm chuffed with my result 278bhp/273lbft!!

Wait until next time!! I'm hoping for a 'bit' more!

Thanks again!
Andy

PS - Don't worry David, I'm selling my boost controller!!

Great day, great result.

See you all next time ....

Yep great day. Thanks again to G-Man.

Some pics then.

Craig was very upset, his sti only made 289bhp, it wouldn't hold boost.

Darren (DC911) winning 22B UK

salsa-king was pleased with this run until Miles went on the RR.

G Man and Phil,

Mikee C on the rollers.

Miles was happy, MY95 UK with backbox 248bhp.

Mr Tango doing the run.

The Winner with his prize, well done Darren.

Cheers
Lee

Thanks to everyone for organising a great day! specially for G-man and Salsa King for sorting it and logiclee for my pic.

Wicked results! 264 bhp/251 lb/ft
not bad for just filter and exhaust on a UK turbo!)

Commiserations to Craigamungus and Salsa King for their **** results -better luck next time

Good to meet the Midlands crew, even though I didn't really get a chance to speak to you all.

Any photos of my car will be appreciated. Feel free to send it to my normal mail account: andrewtang1@aol.com

Also, who had the biggest power from a UK car? In particular, who had the biggest power from a UK car running a standard ECU???

Gutted I couldn't stay, but I need to be manipulated by a lovery blonde lady!!! She's my chiropractor, honest!

Bob,

We're talking about proper UK cars!! Not those pretend UK cars!! Even Paul Strong classes the P1 as a Japanese car!!

Nice figures by the way!

Right that's one on the line now I just need to reel him in.
All the UK cars have black grill badge. What color is yours.

i'm not too sure if the rollers in the afternoon were as correct as in the morning! what does every one else think?
G-Man only got 245bhp! WHY? he added something 2 his petrol 4 a 2nd run and only got 248bhp!

i feel my 235bhp is right for my MY97 Turbo anyway. still a fun/good day.

Gary, cheers for arranging it all m8

Seems that it helped identify a minor problem with my car which I managed to rectify before attempting the second run...

Still needs a play though...

244 brake and 256lb/ft, hmmm I think there is more to come out of the old girl...although having over 230 lb/ft of torque from the moment the turbo starts spining until the red line is interesting, and over 250 lb/ft from 2750 to 5000 of course

Cheers for the pics Lee.

Good to finally meet you all.

I was certainly happy with the 246bhp from my MY95, although I question how it is possible from a standard UK95 with only a backbox? I think the ECU has been altered even though a check I paid for came back negative.
