Bob,

We're talking about proper UK cars!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif Not those pretend UK cars!! Even Paul Strong classes the P1 as a Japanese car!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Nice figures by the way! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

i'm not too sure if the rollers in the afternoon were as correct as in the morning! what does every one else think?
G-Man only got 245bhp! WHY? he added something 2 his petrol 4 a 2nd run and only got 248bhp!

i feel my 235bhp is right for my MY97 Turbo anyway. still a fun/good day.

Phil

g man 15 July 2001 10:27 PM

Thanks to everybody again ashame none of the OLD TIMERS turned up to have a look perhaps next time .BIG BIG THANKS TO WHO CAME INCLUDING THAT ZX 365 WOW......ANYWAY CHEERS.......GMAN=GARY=GAZZA=PAIN IN THE ??????

salsa-king 16 July 2001 05:47 PM

remember 5/1 girls!

Phil

Tim W 16 July 2001 11:10 PM

Gary, cheers for arranging it all m8 http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Seems that it helped identify a minor problem with my car which I managed to rectify before attempting the second run...

Still needs a play though... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif

244 brake and 256lb/ft, hmmm I think there is more to come out of the old girl...although having over 230 lb/ft of torque from the moment the turbo starts spining until the red line is interesting, and over 250 lb/ft from 2750 to 5000 of course http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

TopCat 17 July 2001 12:06 AM

After you with the noose, Craig.

Well done, GMan for great organisation. Also thanks to the PE team.

I'LL BE BACK.

selim 17 July 2001 01:46 PM

Cheers for the pics Lee.

Good to finally meet you all.

I was certainly happy with the 246bhp from my MY95, although I question how it is possible from a standard UK95 with only a backbox? I think the ECU has been altered even though a check I paid for came back negative.

salsa-king 24 May 2014 10:05 PM

just reading this and reminiscing, oh how the 300bhp mark seemed so far away back then. lol

I know I've brought it back up. but they were the good old days of friendship via SN.

:)
