How about a 'modifications / how to' forum
#1
Hi,
Has anyone thought of doing the above type forum for scoobynet, allowing people give detailed instructions/methods of how to do mods e.t.c....
Mods such as:
bumper removal
engine/diff oil change
suspension fitting
engine work
DIY water spray
meshing
the list goes on...
This would save having to trawl through thread after thread for info on a specific subject....
The forum could remind people each thread has to have a clear title of each mod/how to...
Any thoughts...??? i mean we have a sports forum and the infamous muppet forum so what about a mods forum...
Dan.....

....also how about having a list of 'top tens' chosen by votes - such as top ten dealers, top ten mods for under £xxx, or top ten exhausts, wheels, and so on
This would answer a lot of the 'what's the best exhaust/chip/dealer/mod/supplier etc etc etc that continually crop up - and is a useful barometer.
Conversely there could be a bottom ten!
Just an idea.

Ive seen the ravensblade site but its not always geared to cars that are in this country, i know some stuff is similar, but if we had a forum like that or scoobymods.com then scoobynet would get more traffic surly.... or is that the problem.... i suppose you can never get to much traffic....
The probelm sometimes is a certain thread gets lost among all the other stuff....
How about an 'archive' or 'files' type forum then, which could have ECU diagrams e.t.c or simplified instuctions from the impreza manuals for certain MY's on how to changes brake disc/pads e.t.c as the same questions get asked over and over and people cant be arsed to give replies i.e "what is a dawes"...!!

Or all the MODS kud set up a relevant (chiark style) FAQ since they do so little anyhow (NB extreme irony displayed there yer honours)

I got a 'how to' section on my website too. Have links to a few things on ravensblade's site (with his permission of course!)
Though the Forge DV fitting is my own creation!
