Nothing wrong with Search. I've just been using it. Bit slow maybe.

Cool

I costed it for my Legacy, and I reckoned somewhere about the £2.5k mark Or put another way 500 quid less than the damn car is worth.
A dealer will charge you more for a retro- fit, because they are going to have to dismantle the car first to get it in. If you order a new car with it fitted, it is fitted at the factory along with everything else.
However you look at it, it is going to be cheaper to sell your car, then by one with air-con factory fitted.

Red face

Air con on UK cars has always been an aftermarket fit unit, it costs about 1k and takes about 3 hours to do

Cool

Had Subaru warranted system retro-fitted by main dealer on my previous MY00 wagon, cost IIRC approx £900 about 2 years ago.
