Just been diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa (My eyes are fu**ed). I now need to tell the DVLA. They will then take my license away, FOREVER. I have had the Scoob for a year and now I need to sell it. I would really like to shout **** very loudly but I am sure the moderators will remove it..

Beau2 - not necessarily, a good friend of mine has suffered this condition for many years and still drives, all be it, generally not at night.

He has to get re-tested every 5 years.

Sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with this. Phone the DVLA, I'm sure if he's ok driving you also may be ok dependant on the severity of the condition.

Don't give it up just yet. Yes tell the DVLA, but as suggested have the condition assessed by them, there may be a way that, perhaps you can drive during daytime hours only ??, don't know but worth a try. Good Luck M8
