changing pedals
#1
Bit of an odd one.
Got a guy at work with a problem with his right leg - he can't really use it. So he wants to get his driving license and has previously (different country) driven an auto car, but with throttle & brake pedals reversed - so throttle on the left, brake on the right.
So - anyone know of garage / mechanic in the south east who'd be up for this ? He hasnt even started looking into what kind of car he'll use or what the deal is about getting your license in a "non-standard" car (so it could be a scooby to justify my posting on scoobynet ). All very speculative at the moment.
Any help appreciated, etc. Thanks

thanks, though "Motability also offers a Hire Purchase Scheme for powered wheelchairs and scooters." is quite amusing.
He's a systems architect, so we're talking more about a 911 with swapped pedals, but i'll see how he feels about a powered wheelchair
