How many blue colour variations are there ?

Bearing in mind the light affecting the apperance of the blue paint, there also seems to be a variety of different blues (sonic/rally ) available. is this true or do i need glasses?

subaru have fooled many a prospective buyer by sayin that (pretty much all) their colours have got blue in them, it is said that blue paint will make your car look and go like the colin mcrae cars we have seen on the likes of the colin mcrae rally game.
im gonna get a stage 4 paint tune up !
my personal fave if brilliant white/blue micra/sonic/wrc red, then again im coluor blind

I saw that deep blue mica is for cars 2000-, but I'll say for the record that in latin america dark blue mica stays. It's probably just the translation since "deep" would make no sense.

i have a STI 6 type R and thats in deep blue mica. Paints soft as s**t, looks good have not seen another type R in this colour in the country and i've seen a lot of scooby's . Got a touch up kit from subaru might as well been red the colour match was that close :-)

Sonic blue has to be the best blue, color of a 22b, and P1 i think? What about aqua blue, ive seen one around where i live, don't really recommend it, but if you want to be different, go ahead

Without having any paint code books next to me, here's the ones I can remember.
M368 Lavender Blue (1992-1994)
M66c Blue (1997)
416 Dark Blue (1995-1996)
65C Reddish Blue (1997-1998)
53C 555 Blue / Monte Carlo Blue (1994-1997)
52D Dark Blue (1997-1999)
95H Deep Blue (2000)
74F New 555 Blue / Rally Blue / Sonic Blue (1997-2000)
02C WR Blue (2001- )
08V Blue Black (2001- )
This is just a very rough guide from what I remember, so some of the years may be out. Also some colours were only available on WRX Imports and not UK models.

Must admit when people ask what I drive and tell them a Subaru there normal reaction is either :
"Subaru who makes them ?"
or
"Is it blue with gold wheels"
Ferraris should be red
Subarus should be blue
Cop cars should be white
EVOs should be banned
