And then some I think. £170 ish inc VAT my last one, oil, filters, sump plug washer, etc...no brake fluid as I had recently put braided hoses on and they at least realised this and was honest enough not to do it. I forgot to mention it to them like a ****.

Oh for piece of mind, warranty, full scooby service all good points when sell the car. How much of it will you actually get back though?

At least the accountant will sort something out at the end of the year for me as I use the car for business.

Just got mine done at ScoobySport £84, can't recommend them highly enough, although not a Scooby main dealer, these guys know their ****.
Just because a cars history is not full Subaru, it wouldn't make any difference to me. I'm happy if its done by "recognised" subaru mechs. I think most would think the same.

just my tuppence worth (which I saved by going to ScoobySport )

£62 for oil and filter change - no brake stuff done though...same reason as above!

...cheapest 45000 mile service in the history of Subaru I reckon

(the cam belt had been done a month before after a small accident resulted in engine damage and it was all done under the insurance )

Chris - It was Sparshatts (or 'shatts as I like to call them ) don't think they are cheaper usually - just the fact that we'd had loads of repair work done there after the accident and I think the service manager has taken a liking to us, we don't get out without a 15 minute chat these days!

It was only the oil and filter change too, no brake fluid change etc, although I will say they were *excellent* about doing exactly what we wanted and nothing else...saying that, I didn't trust them before (although in fairness that was mainly due to the sales dept) and Mill Lane have a much better repuation.

Nearest place I've heard of for good value is Subaru 4U, although that's a bit of a trek and you might spend in petrol what you save in service costs for a "small one"...
