Do Subaru dealers carry out a bodywork check on the 1st year service?

You need to ask 'em for it normally. Cost varies between 45 quid at KT Green in Leeds and silly money.
KT Green inject gunk into your car's delicate bits. Others put more underseal on the car. Do it, otherwise you lose your bodywork anti-corrosion warranty.

Just been quoted £176 for the annual 10,000 mile service and £191 for the bodywork re-wax! Seems a bit steep to me, but i'll loose the bodywork warranty if I don't have it done.

I questioned dealer on whether the body work service was worth it, his words were
"I wouldn't bother, warranty only covers you for rust coming from underneath, anthing that is chipped/scratched/etc and then rusts wont apply".
If car is reasonably looked after, what are the actual chances of it rusting?
Not sure I want to cough up £150+ for the very little work that they seem to carry out.
What do most of you do?
