Unless you drive the thing is there a visual way of telling if a T Plate (MY99) car has a PPP kit fitted.

As far as I know it is ECU, Intercooler Pipes and exhaust.

Is there a way of looking at all three to tell?

Reason I ask is that I have been offered the parts outright by going back to standard. I dunno what I am looking at, or what it is worth.

Cool

Parts consist of:

Exhaust will have Prodrive stamped on the shiny bit.

Centre section is de-cat & might be stamped STi - can't remember!

Blue hosing also has Prodrive on it.

The centre section looks the same as the normal centre - have they taken the cat out but left the box bit?

It definitely had one of those blue hoses on the car.

Does that say STI on the ECU?

Thumbs up

Don't know m8, but if you don't want all the bits I'll be interested in the ECU....let me know

The ECU will have a pink sticker on it with Sti if it's a PPP one

John

Edited to say, infact I'll be interested in the pipe work aswell if you didn't want it on your car (not even sure it'll fit your car...)

Hol, (and all), I have a certificate with my car.

And, some bugger had nicked the silicone hoses and put standard ones on it

Never mind, I have better ones now

Mega,

It would never for my car anyway. Ive got STi intercooler, Full Scoobysport and Link.

To be honest I was wondering if it was worth buying to sell on.

If you are interested I have emailed you my home number so I can let you know the full details.
