Your Opinions Please <<<LOOK IN>>>

Hi all, Just in process of ordering my brand new scooby in blue/black but was contemplating trading up my standard 17 inch alloys for the 17inch prodrives in anthracite. Does anyone know if they will go/look good in this colour. Apols if this has been asked before but I am a newbie.
Your opinions plz chaps.
Cheers!

The Prodrives are lighter. You will therefore decrease unsprung weight and as a consequence have better roadholding / braking / acceleration (slightly) and the car will feel more "alive".
I used to own a black car and it was a PITA to keep it clean. If you get (like I did) a leak from the windshield washer nozzle and have this whitish stuff drying on your bonnet, you'll be MAAD!! (and they couldnt fix it!)
Personally, I find a blue one too common, black too much of a PITA. A friend of mine has a silver one, looks good and is easy to keep clean.
Oh, BTW, dont listen to me, the choice is yours! just my 2cts

Thanks Claudius - I personally yhink that Silver cars in genereal have swamped the UK market. I like the black as it has an almost two tone look because of the hint of blue. Anyways in terms of the anthracite and black - does it look good???

I have to agree with Claudius. I have a Blue/black STi and have to wash it at least twice a week (and thats in summer weather). It also shows up every paint defect no matter how minor. Having said that, I think that Blue/black is the best colour for the STi. I also think that it suits gold wheels.
I have seen pictures of a Blue/black STi with anthracite wheels and (sorry to owner) I didn't like it. The Prodrive PPP development car (PRO 300) had 18" wheels in silver/pewter colour and it looked fabulous.

After looking at the 2 options it looks like I will stick to the standard alloys - 'The 18'' P-FFD's would cost you £1000 having 'part exchanged' the standard WRX units. the 17'' Prodrive Anthracite's would be £500' And in comparing the 2 the P-FFD's suit the blue/black color more than the anthracite Prolines but me cannot afford the 1000 upgrade fee!!!!1
