IMHO nice looking car. dont like the look of old evo's, especially 6, but evo7 looks better than new wrx. a lot of people seem to have problems with p1 paint. pity IM ballsed it up.
only problem is that lancer bbs is dull, and evo7 dont have a flat four
still a nice car though!

Congratulations Jason,

Top car I only like the 7 out of all the EVO's myself, looks wise, but I tell you what I also love the P1 and I would find it very difficult to choose between the P1 and EVO 7.

They kind'a look alike, It would boil down to performance for me, in the end.

Enjoy the car m8!!!

WREXY.

spudgun,

Sorry to dip into this thread with an off-topic topic, but I see you've got an STi 5. I've been offered one - 98S with 28k, full history, etc, from a Subaru dealer Any idea what would be a reasonable price range?

Thanks,
JB

Must admit it looks my favourite for next car. I will miss the noise of my scoob though.

Colin,

Off to Ralliart huh. If you end up getting the same sales chap as me, be prepared for a trouser filling experience on the demonstration drive. I'm not going to mention any names, but suggest you ask the guys there to take it easy. Going like the clappers around wet r/bouts and accelerating like mad out of them up to twice/three times the speed limit on urban roads through traffic may have helped sell me the car, but there's only so many times you can get away with that sort of thing before lightning strikes.

Stay safe, enjoy the drive.

Gary.

I personally don't like the look of the Evo VII, I prefer the aggressive look of the 6.
Nice inside though, I looked at one at Roger Clark Motorsport on wednesday...not sure if it was for sale or not.

Cool

I went with Colin to RA on Saturday and WOW what a car...personally I love the Evo 6 over the 7 and I was taken out by the mad driver!!! boy can he drive.....

I must say I want one, infact even my misses was saying "just leave your scoob here and get an EVO..... now"

I am running my scooby on Hibacks and 17" Super Ts and we both think that the Evo was smoother on the road and much much better around corners than my scoob... Take off is much quicker and the built quality is superior... it's nice to be able to close a door with out fear that the car is going to fall apart... also both driver and passenger seats are really tops... more leg room in the back for mates too.

The 7 is nice but I don't like the cheap spoiler and it looks c**p compared to the 6.

So if I can sort and the dosh, I am having one........

Sorry Cem for all those things I said to you about your motor I have seen the light...........

Mark
