Is there something wrong with the search engine ??

Everytime I submit a search, it takes decades.

Anyone else get the same problem ??

 

It doesn't work......

 

It seems to work... however the date filtering seems to be screwed... so it is doing a full search back to 1999. Less busy forums search fairly quickly.

The new bbs software was finished bar a few bits of tidying off today. The new search facility is nice and quick so it won't be a problem for long.

One of the main problems with searches is the sheer size of data (2.5GB!!!) held on scoobynet, so it's quite a task, especially for the UBB file structure.

The new software is dramatically more efficient.
