Trying not to titter too much....

Wots wrong with a Scottish one, Jock?
Or a Welsh one, boyo?

Narrow down the field, mate.
A "half decent one" is anything from "not a lot" to "a bit more than that" depending on year and additional bits.

Thumbs up

Cheers for that. I have no idea where Helensburgh is though. I come from Plymouth and only recently moved up here.
Anyway I am after an Impreza turbo as my car is pants(No it's not a tractor). I have an MR2 which I have had enough of. It might be fun for *** out antics (sometimes without my say so in the wet) but i have just had enough of it. Looking to spend about 10-12k on a new motor. Any ideas for an alternative motor also appretiated but I don't think you will change my mind. I want, I need, I must have an Impreza!! And yes if an impreza was a girl I would be done for stalking!!

Helensburgh is just across the Erskine Bridge and up the West Coast a bit. Maybe when you get your Scooby you can do a bit of touring.

Noble's in Penicuik are a Subaru/Isuzu dealer - they sometimes have good second hand Impreza Turbos for sale. I guess your looking at a P or an R reg for what you want to spend. I bought a Catalunya (R reg) from them last November - one owner, FSH, 18.5K miles.

Before you ask, unfortunately, Penicuik is over in the East about 8 miles South of the outskirts of Edinburgh.

Good hunting!

Slippy,

Try giving "Great Western Motors" a call.

Never used them personally, but they usually have a range of Jap performance stuff outside their showroom.

They are just off Great Western Road - heading for Dumbarton - just before the big B&Q warehouse place beside Drumchapel.

Hope this helps.......

PS - There's always a load of scoobies in Autotrader......

Yeah I know the place I drive past it every day. I have seen a red 'R' reg for £12,500 but it has been there forever and I might be able to buy better.

Nope. Left Plmouth because it was filled with farmers and sailors. It was like an alternative village people!!

There is a nice 'R' reg Turbo down the road with 40k for £12500....could I do better?

Cheers. But our company actually wrote the autotrader system so I have played on it before. Lots of worthy cars though.
