Since resigning in December after constant clashes of views with the MD (thinking I'd have a few weeks off and then find another role easily) I'm still out of a job. Lots of crappy middle management jobs around for which I am way overqualified and too expensive, and no suitable higher level management or consulting roles at all

My savings are shrinking at an alarming rate due to expensive rent / food / general expenses, and will run out around Christmas at this rate. After which.....?????

Worse of all, my motoring "progression" since age 19 (first car purchased) has taken a big downturn:

1991 - Civic Si
1994 - Alfa 33 GreenLeafClover
1996 - Lancer Evo III
1999 - WRX MY99
2000 - Elise 111S
2001 - BMW330 SportPack
2002/3 - was going to be new M3 or 993 911 ..... is MINI Cooper

Just turned 30 last month: what a way to commence my new decade!

Sorry guys, just reading the post about all the people buying the new M3 has got me all upset
At this rate I will be spending 2003 working in a fast food chain, driving to the 4am shift in a beaten up Fiat Uno.

Hi,

I work in media/new media/telco/e-comm. In the past 6 years I have worked my way to senior manager at two top consulting firms in Europe, as well as having been GM and COO of a startup and of a major Australasian group.

I reside in Italy at the moment, but for the right offer would be prepared to relocate. Obviously would rather remain here as, after two years in Milano, I am fairly settled with house/friends/etc.

Any help is much appreciated: I'm used to having to constantly turn offers down (when I didn't need them!), and now that I do I cannot find any!
