Looks like either I've just noticed this scratch after a years ownership or someone has decided to restyle my car.. Its not very wide but runs from the middle of the rear door to just behind the pertrol cap.. Is there anyway I can remove it? Any company in the Reading area

Not a nice way to start my monday morning

Sorry to hear it Dizzy Makes my blood boil. Same thing happened to me and I got it all sorted for £95. That was up here in Manchester though so is probably not that good for you.

Good luck

If its not too deep you should be able to polish it out....

I've rid mine of quite a few scratchs using just Autoglym Paint Renovator (much kinder than T-Cut) and Super Resin Polish.........

I'll second that - wax wizard is remarkable stuff for making scratches dissappear if they are not too deep.

Thumbs up

Silversmith,

Call Paul at Hillside Garage in Heywood. They are a few minutes from Junction 19 off the M62 and YES I would recomend him. Highly.

I was quoted £329 for the same job he did for £95. The paintwork is bang on, I would defy anyone to tell me which panel had been resprayed. The colour match is perfect (WR Mica Blue). I can assure you it was no less of a job. For my £95 I had a deep (down to the metal) key scratch removed which was about 2 inches long on the wing. A fine scratch removed from my bonnet about 3 inches long (a cat ) and a supermarket scuff removed from my rear bumper. This is a good friend of my best mate so I knew the job would be profesional as it came on his recommendation.

Mention my name and a Blue Impreza Prodrive and I'm sure he will quote you a good price. Mention you saw my post on Scoobynet also.

Paul at Hillside can be contacted on 01706 629248 (garage) 07960 935811 (mobile)

Hope this helps everyone

Steve
