Anyone seen it in this weeks Autocar? Looks amazing, finally BMW make a real focussed drivers car! A real spiritual successor to the orginal M3. Great.

Talking

Its looks great, put a request in for one the moment it was mentioned last year

Get nice updates from BMW now although they won't give anymore information on numbers or spec until at least Nov/Dec this year

Boy it looks nice

Went looking for a M3 last weekend and there's a 2 years waiting list for M3's the sales manager said.

Bet you'd have to wait even longer for that baby....

Red face

The waiting list for M3 is not really 2 years. I have been offered a new one this week, and had a slot for Sept build which would of been a 5 month wait from when I ordered it. There is now a lot of used M3's arround and the wait is on the decline. Some people are even struggling to sell there M3's. A cab is only 9 months wait and if you shop arround it would be shorter.

The CSL looks nice depending on spec. I have my name down for one . £45k seems to be the est.

I saw a development mule of this beast in February in Germany. It looked bloody amazing. Sounded like an F16 doing a fly-by of your ear drum. Nice.

Hi
BMW have not confirmed when it will go into production
They have said that it will and the earliest it will be produced is Jan 03 in limited numbers. The only problem will be that as its a non standard BMW Build the parts will have to be addedd manually
The cost will go up
Also dont know if the will make a Right Hand Drive version.
Time will tell
Wonder how much better than the standard M3 it will be
Will be interested ot know how they dialled out the understeer
