I gotta 93 Legacy GT wagon, and I get the dreaded air noise when travelling over 30mph (left 'n right), I have heard this is pretty common.....just need to know what the fix is. All the rubbers are in good nick, is it usually a glass adjustment after taking door trims off? or something else

Any help is appreciated, its drivin me nuts!

Cheers

Have you tried putting a smear of grease/vaseline on the window rubber at the top so that it seals. Sounds a bit dodgy but sometimes works

my mate used to get this all the time in his SUnny GTI-R and it drove me nuts! He had to be doing 60/70+ to get it though... he never managed to fix it... put me off buying one of the little rockets so it did!

mike16v - Yeh I certainly know what you mean!! Im pretty sure I have found the problem though...its the rubbers that guide the glass in adjacent to the mirrors......i should be able to fix it pretty cheaply.

Thanks for the info guys...

Halfords do a rubber/silicone lubricant. It stopped the problem on my old STi.
