astraboy,
you have me interested now!!
Just checked my "spare change box", and of the five 2 pound coins, three have the necklace and two don't.
The necklace ones are 1997 editions, apart from one which is a "TERCENTENARY OF THE BILL OF RIGHTS 1689/1989" (but no production date). The latter is also thicker than the rest, and has no writing on the edge.
Shame they are only worth fifteen quid though

Should be in non scooby related, I know, but this is just a quicky...
I have just been handed a £2 coin with me change and the queen is wearing a necklace. I have heard that these are worth about £15 at there was an error at the mint and there is only a limited amount made. Is there any truth in this?
