Hi folks,
Just wondering if anyone out there has bought waxes from the wizard (Mark Underwood) and what your impressions are of those particular waxes.
I dont need prices, just opinions on the varying waxes from swissol.
Thanks in advance people

Bought the starter kit 2-3 months back.. time flies.. well impressed with the quality of the kit and with Mark's friendly 'no problems' attitude.
I found the first cleanse/ wax hard work.... not really a dedicated car cleaner me.. BUT if I pay a decent price for something I tend to value it and use it.. Anyways after dropping a mail to Mark he assured me I was using too much wax... The next time was a doddle.. the dirt flew off the surface and waxing was easy peasy.. The results speak for themselves.. awesome shine and so easy to clean next time around...
I will be buying more of this product when this is done and I will pluck up the courage to do under the bonnet... what better recommendation?
No connection to ww blah blah just a happy punter..

I picked my kit up from Donington on Sunday and Mark gave me a demo. I could not believe how easy it was to use. As Alpine said if you use too much wax it can be hard work. If you use the right amount which is very little then you dont need to apply any pressure to remove the wax and the finish is the best I have seen.

Well lets put things in perspective, when I recieved my first kit I was certainly disapointed. An assortment of plain tubs with some computer generated lables. Simply a rip off by someone chucking stuff in a bucket in his back yard!!!!!!!!!!
If I'd followed my instincts I have immediately dumped it all back in the second/third hand outer carton and headed for the Post Office.
But, I thought there are a lot of people using this stuff not all of em have more money than sense and surely even Scoobnet can't sustain that many idiots. So I decided to give it a try and then demand my refund (oops correction I'd not even sent the cheque at that time )
If I may paraphrase, you pay for what you get. Theres no fancy packaging or expensive marketing done. Were not talking Turbot, Smear or Auto Glum here, start to use the stuff and it sells itself. It ain't cheap but the only option is to give it a try then decide and as said above any problems and Mark is happy to help.
But, more importantly, if I can make a Scoob gleam anyone can.

Banshi..those days have gone and things have progressed. New labels, new pots and new bottles etc etc. All properly presented and each kit coes in a storage bag. All the formulae have been reworked over the winter to provide even greater ease of use and they all smell so yummy.

I'll vouch for the yummy smell
Coconut shampoo, orange wheel cleaner and Creamola Foam pre-wax
Just put the wax on the roof of my car and the heavens opened.
Currently got a tartan travel rug over the Scoob

Nice to see there was smiley in the heading m8.
Bit of a fairy story really but thought it would make a change from the usual list of superlatives New packaging eh, just shows how long that stuff lasts.
If its now reformulated are you still doing the Subaru Wax?
BTW Chrome, at 18 months I got Mark to do a full valet job on the car then used the product range. We traded it and it still looked great, the day we collected a brand new Scoob my wife said "doesn't look as good as when Mark cleaned the old one, we should have got him to prep it". (and that bit is fact with no fiction)
One of the few times we agreed on something without a debate

I have tried several waxes from Mark and SHIELD is the current champion.
Contains PTFE (Teflon).
This wax lasts and lasts on your car. You can really feel it there still several weeks after application. Very easy to apply/buff.
Show Wax also another good one. Aslo very easy to apply/buff.

Banshi..the old Subaru wax is now called Samurai wax. Wax the whole car even in direct sunlight and then gently buff. You can even buff next day as happened to me yesterday...I forgot to buff the bonnet and wings of my car that I demo'd on at Donno and drove home and gently buffed yesterday before it decided to lump down. Easy peasy.

I've been reading most of the posts on this subject and have to say everyone seems to rave about this product. Next time there is a group-buy count me in.
