Start nosin round dealers to get a feel fer prices and wots available. Good used section on the official subaru site (www.subaru.co.uk). Maybe even blag a test drive or two...

All depends on how much you got to spend m8. Scoobs available from £5K - £40K. Also depends on how much insurance you can afford.

Agree that SIDC and Subaru uk are the best places to start.

Whatever you get make sure its a straight clean, fully serviced example...lots of crappy ones about...especially in my part of the world...avoid anything without total sh.....

thx for the guys but with my budget i will only be getting a 2000 turbo uk model between a 95 and a 97 model
wrx to much ti insure :-(

A few things to bear in mind, make sure it IS:-

UK model
Full Service History - Main Dealer
One Owner
Mature Driver

Make sure it IS NOT:-

Import
Dodgy Servicing
Loads of owners
Modified cars
Raced/Track Cars
Owned by anyone under 30 -

Normal stuff really - buy a dodgy one at cheap money but its not worth it in the end - spend the money and get the best
