My brother imported one of the first 22b's and sold it for £49k.

Don't really know much about the 22B but saw an ad on the back of True Grip for one - a 99T for £38,500.

Can it really still be worth twice the price of a new WRX? And please lets keep the Bug Eye comments down. The looks alone cann't be worth that much.

Discuss

There are a few factors as to why it's regarded as the ultimate Impreza.

1. It's the closest scoob joe public can buy to the Rally Car
2. Only 400 were made
3. Only 16 came to the UK as UK models
4. It's not just a tweek of an existing car, it has components that can be found on on no other scoob as standard

It comes down to what people are prepared to pay..

Thanks Neil and co.

Still £38,500 sounds a hell of a lot for a 3yr old car - how much were they new?

Thumbs up

Something like 40K IIRC ?

It does tell you something when after 3 (shouldn't that be 4 ?) they still go for these kind of prices.

They are not the fastest/strongest/best suited cars, but they still make us small *** boys dream

"It's the line dude, it's the line".

Cool

David, that's an easy one: less than 416 *

* Given the fact that some high profile owners have smashed them up ... and Nicky G. does not frequent this forum

Just don't tell Shaggy you asked this question
