Question

Anyone got any comments on that Zymol stuff? It looks bloody hard work to put on & the car exterior had to be more than 65 degrees to put it on????

Big Lee,

I have both Zymol and WW and have to say that the WW stuff is easier to use (the merlin wax). You just put it on and buff is off. Easy to buff off even with to much was on. If you are new to this you will put to much wax on. Zymol stuff is a little difficult to use at first but I think produces the same results. I wax more as it's easier with the merlin stuff.

Merlin apply with aplicator, wait to dry and then buff off. You can do whole front and sides buffore buffing. Mark gives you loads of towles and they are cheap.

Zymol apply a little bit, buff once in opposite direction. wait for 30 seconds. Buff off. If you have put to much on then buff off from the next 5 minuites trying to get rid of all the little dots. Have lotts of towles ready but Zymol starter kit only give you one. Not good if you wax and clense at the same time.

On the plus side for Zymol is looks expensive in its nice containers and smells nice (Merlin smells but not as nice IMHO). The car wash stuff also has a nice lemon smell and the WW stuff does not. WW is about £5 for the wash and Zymol is about £20.

Si

You may like to contact the wizard of wax, Mark U, he may be able to answer some questions on the stuff.

Question

Whats the situation about temperature? it seems that the car bodywork has to be warm for the Zymol to work, is it the same for WW? as I havn`t got a heated garage & I`m not standing outside warming my car with the girlfriends hairdryer !!

Don't worry Lee, both Zymol and the ww stuff work fine even in chilly Cumbria.
