Default Goonet Exchange ?

Come next year, I want to change the Cross sports.

Want another JDM again.

What's the crack with GooNet, is it like auto trader and they are car dealers in Japan who will sell you a 2nd hand car and arrange shipping?

Or is it better going through someone to buy at auction at a cheaper price?

Tia

I've always gone with jdm cars , but I have always bought what is already landed in the uk , the risk with auctions is they can't apparently start the car ? , rust and issues can be missed , and in Japan there are two auction houses in the mountain areas , and the climate is the same as uk so cars can be rotten , at least if you buy from a dealer in the uk there is some come back if there are issues , your choice 👍importers , torque gt , Harlow jap autos , hurst cars are pricey , or other dealers DCY seen to bring a few in too

That's exactly what they are, and there are quite a few flavours too; I used this lot a couple of years ago to import a Legacy GT, no issues encountered.

How did you do it, contact the dealer selling the car direct. Or via Goonet?

Chances are a car at a dealer over there will be in better condition than what you might buy a bit cheaper at auction?

Just be aware that the jdm second hand car market is notorious for fraud. This is why importers use independent agents to check their cars. Do your checks as you would here.

Via Beforward...

Almost definitely cheaper by auction, but more stuff to do yourself like organise shipping.
