Hi all I haven't been on here for a few years so thought ide put a post so my previous Subaru classic ended up worse for wear dreaded rust so decide to hunt for a good shell and start from the beginning fully soda blasted and acid etch primed In transit on way home I actually stayed in the back of the lorry with it 🤣🤣
This great, keep posting.
Where did you source the shell from?
Hi mate the shell came from Portsmouth way it was a project that some one never got round to doing so spent I think 3 years in storage and then I bought it for £700
Looking good , a bit of a mammoth task , but keep posting it will be good to see how you get on with it 👍
Ofcourse I will mate slow and steady tho I have to divide my time between the wife buisness and car 🤣 although truth be told she drives it the most I take it for an MOT that's about it 🤣
Cracking post, what a lovely shell, as someone who has bought another classic impreza to find its rotten badly, this looks amazing work, what did you wrap your loom in? Been looking for something for a while, auto electrician left half my looms bare after fixing my wiring issue and screwing me over.
£700 is a bargain for such a clean shell.

Haha that's fine mate some Bolts have been put back in I'm waiting for the new ones for around the plastic filler neck the 4 black one also what have you managed to pick up on and I do have pretty much the rest of the bolts in a bucket ready for the zink platers
It was a cheap eBay buy, ended up picking it up on a dark rainy night before lockdown hit. All old mot's had no mention of any rust lol.
