Default Burning clutch

Bit of a newbie question but I have to ask, whilst driving in normal traffic not aggressive driving I got a whiff of burning clutch is there an easy fix or is it just a question of getting a new clutch.
Gear changes were normal, biting point and pedal felt normal and no judder.

any help appreciated.

Try popping in neutral when stationary. Could be dragging a bit or slave/master leaking down internally.

Also check brakes aren't binding when warm.

If its in steady traffic the pads arent going to get hot?
Normally if a brake is binding rolling in slow traffic is where you feel it most,
Most ride the clutch a touch in traffic.

normal traffic he said, all depends from driving style, i used brakes a lot burning pads on 4pots ,never burnt a clutch in normal traffic but could do it when starting with slipping clutch on gear 1

Thanks for help/info much appreciated, it’s nice to get help/advice from people who know what their taking about especially Subaru related. A lot of garages don’t know squat about the cars we own and they are supposedly the experts.
