Default Sti 2008 goes into limp mode

Need some help. My sti hatchback 2008 keeps going into limp mode with the code PO244 I've had turbo reconditioned wastegate solenoid valve changed other few bits but still goes into limp mode where the engine management light comes on traction comes on and i-sport flashes.. dealers can not even help me as they can't get into the ecu as its been tuned but I got it like this so no idea about the tune.. ive had the car 6 year and in the last year or 2 it has started this problem also strong fuel smell comes too from it and it guzzles more than it should i barely got 200 miles out of a full tank. Dealers have said its over boosting but I have no idea. Any suggestions?

Can you find out who mapped it, and what else, if anything, has been done?

That's what he needs to do, he has to contact the person that mapped it., with the dealer not being able to access the ECU it sounds like the original mapper locked the ECU to protect their work.

He mapped/tuned ecu but by only 30bhp to replicate the 330s model and nothing else has been done to it besides wheels and prodrive exhaust.. its weird because itd been alright for years then this is happening it happened as soon as after I got radiator changed as it over heated once.. when driving you hear this spraying kind of noise or something loose but no one seems to know whats going on

Sounds like you have more than 1 issue.
Is the emissions heat pump still working, or has it been removed?
Take it to an experienced indie specialist who also provides mapping, like Enginetuner, TDR, Clinic or FB tuning. You don't say who has maintained it for 6 years, or what the other bits of work were for.

so issue has been resolved with the limp mode it was the sensor that was reading temperature of above 15000ft in the sky (god knows why) apparently common fault so tuner that i know flashed it and reset it and the issue wirh the fuel is a corroded joint or something to do with fuel line under manifold as these cars are known for rust and corroding badly so hopefully once fuel issue solved should be okay.. thanks for the advice and help though guys. Much appreciated.
