Default Stereo wiring on jdm models

Hope this is ok in this section as gets more traffic than the ice section which hasn’t been posted in since feb.

I have a jdm legacy that has got a pioneer carozerra (sp) system in it. Dash has been changed to a double din and the head unit has a built in dvd/tv screen that slides out.
As it’s jap spec nothing works, it has mini disc and normal CD player but won’t load cd’s.

I have got a new pioneer head unit to go in, but wondered if any of you know if the block connectors are different on jdm models or if my new unit will just plug straight in to the connectors that are (hopefully) in it, provided it has not been spliced in.

Also, the new unit has a dab radio on it.
I already have what I presume are digital Ariel ‘thingamejigs’ stuck to the top of the windscreen for the tv on the existing head unit.
Will this work with the dab radio or will it need another Ariel installed.

My jdm sti 05 Forster , i bought an ebay adaptor for 5£ or so ,Halfords do them too , so a straight plug into my loom , I’ve never kept a jdm cd player in the car I’ve always swapped them out , either radio does not work , but there’s a plug to change frequencies to the uk ones , but I’ve never found the jdm spec cd players to be any good any way , or too much faff making them work for the uk 👍

At 5 £ or so I bought a spare plug/loom for the swap so I knew either way it would work 👍
