Time for a change
So my Subaru is up for sale:This is my 2007 WRX Estate.
Currently on 91k
5 Previous Owners
Private Reg removed, back on: SP07PVU
V5 in my name
2 Keys
Just over 12 months MOT.
Location: Just outside Stirling, Central Scotland
Reason for sale, I have done under 2000 miles in it this year and I fancy an old beetle again or possibly a kit car.
Work carried out in 2019 (previous owner):
New aluminium STI front suspension arms conversion with sti bushings
New track rod ends
New Whiteline front Anti roll bar drop links
White line anti roll bar bushing
Restored hubs
New ball joints

White line rack and pinion steering rack bushing
BC coil over suspension set up for fast road use
Inner Wheels arch restoration front and rear
Complete under-body restoration and paint - looks like new - no rust.
Rear suspension camber bolts
Complete caliper refurbishment with new pistons, seals, bolts, paint and decals front and rear
New discs front and rear
New Mintex M1144 high performance brake pads
Black diamond high performance brake fluid
New millers TRX 75W 90 synthetic gearbox oil
New millers rear diff oil
New NGK laser platinum spark plugs
New titan pro s 10w 50 engine oil
New OEM oil filter
Engine coolant flush and new triple QX coolant
New OEM front radiator
New OEM coolant header tank
New Alternator and AC pump belts
Walbro 255 fuel pump
New OEM STI group N engine mounts
New Cosworth panel air filter
Secondary air pump and EGR valve delete
Roger clark motorsport EGR valve delete plates
Roger Clark Motorsport Billet TGVs
New intake manifold gaskets
Fully refurbished STI intercooler with new ScoobyWorld silicone hoses, clamps and gaskets
Fully reconditioned genuine VF34 turbo with larger exhaust side supplied by Fastline turbos with all new bolts, gaskets and water lines.
New titanium turbo blanket
Ported and matched headers wrapped in titanium heat wrap with all new gaskets, engine studs and bolts
Wrapped catless up pipe with new gaskets and bolts
New full 3 inch turbo back Haywood & Scott exhaust system with 3.5 inch back box pipe and track day centre silencer. All new gaskets, bolts and rubber hangers.
Mapped at 350.6bhp (print out available)
Under my ownership (car purchased Feb 2020)
Fully undersealed by Preserve and Protect in Johnstone (lots of pictures if required) in 2021
4 Wheel alignment by CLCM Edinburgh
2 tyres replaced, Goodyear Eagle F1’s all round
Timing belt and water pump replaced (84k)
Front drop links replaced
Thermostat cover replaced
Top and bottom radiator hoses replaced
MAF replaced
Spark Plugs replaced.
Pro sport gauges installed boost, oil temp and oil pressure (oil pressure gauge can temperamental on occasion, diagnosed as being a fault with the gauge itself, these were bought second hand so have put up with it).
There are receipts for over £8000 in a large A4 folder.
Service History, a few stamps missing from it's earlier years but receipts are there, the car was self-serviced by the owner when the work was carried out in 2019 (again with receipts). I have had Annual Services carried by Hypertech in Bonnybridge, well under mileage for oil changes.
Things to note:
The paint on one of the alloys has started to lift on one of the spokes.
The paintwork is very good, not immaculate, I think the phrase is commensurate with age? Due to Subaru making doors out of cheese, there are a couple of light dings if caught in the right light and a 1cm scratch on the driver’s door(not through to metal).
Aircon does not blow cold.
Price: £7500

I guess its a case of waiting for someone looking for one. It's on Ebay, Gumtree and even car and classic, not even a sniff yet, lol.

A drop to £7500, might not be the right time to sell or no buyer out there just now, if not, I will just enjoy it for a little longer.

GLWTS. Looks like a great example. I've been looking at the newage wagons recently and may well go that route once I sell one of mine.
