V5 in my name

2 Keys

Just over 12 months MOT.

Location: Just outside Stirling, Central Scotland

Reason for sale, I have done under 2000 miles in it this year and I fancy an old beetle again or possibly a kit car.

New full 3 inch turbo back Haywood & Scott exhaust system with 3.5 inch back box pipe and track day centre silencer. All new gaskets, bolts and rubber hangers.

Mapped at 350.6bhp (print out available)

Under my ownership (car purchased Feb 2020)

Fully undersealed by Preserve and Protect in Johnstone (lots of pictures if required) in 2021

4 Wheel alignment by CLCM Edinburgh

2 tyres replaced, Goodyear Eagle F1’s all round

Timing belt and water pump replaced (84k)

Front drop links replaced

Thermostat cover replaced

Top and bottom radiator hoses replaced

MAF replaced

Spark Plugs replaced.

Pro sport gauges installed boost, oil temp and oil pressure (oil pressure gauge can temperamental on occasion, diagnosed as being a fault with the gauge itself, these were bought second hand so have put up with it).

There are receipts for over £8000 in a large A4 folder.

Service History, a few stamps missing from it's earlier years but receipts are there, the car was self-serviced by the owner when the work was carried out in 2019 (again with receipts). I have had Annual Services carried by Hypertech in Bonnybridge, well under mileage for oil changes.

Things to note:

The paint on one of the alloys has started to lift on one of the spokes.

The paintwork is very good, not immaculate, I think the phrase is commensurate with age? Due to Subaru making doors out of cheese, there are a couple of light dings if caught in the right light and a 1cm scratch on the driver’s door(not through to metal).

Aircon does not blow cold.

Price: £7500

I guess its a case of waiting for someone looking for one. It's on Ebay, Gumtree and even car and classic, not even a sniff yet, lol.

Great cars these, I used to have a WRX wagon and yours is a well looked after example.

A drop to £7500, might not be the right time to sell or no buyer out there just now, if not, I will just enjoy it for a little longer.

GLWTS. Looks like a great example. I've been looking at the newage wagons recently and may well go that route once I sell one of mine.
