Default GF8 Weather proof cover

Hello All,

Can someone please direct me to a decent GF8 weather proof cover? I have a garage but unfortunately is packed with a load of rubbish and other bits so the car will be staying outside.

Looking for something with a snug fit.

Thanks in advance.

The best advice I can give you after my gf8 cover 'experience' is check the weight in the spec sheet on ebay/Amazon and go for the heaviest.

The wagon is a bit of an odd shape /size so snug might mean it's too short at the back past the rear window.

My solution after several tries was to buy 2 of the heavy, better quality ones and strap across the top of the roof rails and under the car.

Don't buy the light ones as they are a waste of money - they either get airborne, to lopsided on the car, or let the water/damp in.

Thanks for that advise, there are companies out there that are making covers for all cars, and they do have the WRX station wagon on there, however i am not sure how much i trust them. But i called and they said they have the dimensions on there system. So may be worth going for?

The website is autocovers.co,uk

Just decide what you want it for. There's a lot of rubbish out there which wont keep your car dry. Snug fit ones are *typically* lightweight and ok if your car is in a garage...

I've got a Stormforce one on my Hawkeye and it's a pretty snug fit, not sure if they do one for the GF8 though.

I got a Walmart car cover for my car. I am from Canada, so having a car cover during winter there is a must. A car cover is one of the single best things you can do for your vehicle during the winter weather season. A car cover insulates your vehicle to protect sensitive electrical components and prevent moisture damage. It also keeps the snow and ice from sticking to your vehicle. Also, it protects the car from rusting, which is a big problem for old cars. But this is a must only for people that keep their cars outside.
