Default classic Gf8 door cards

Evening all

I have some slight wear and tear damage to the door cards and the drivers door rest is caved in, I contacted aldridge trimmers but it is not something they would repair, has anybody manage to find a trimmer who would repair classic door cards

Thanks All

You used to be able to get loads of bits from the dealers but recently they closed down a lot of factories so NLA.

Are you in Brum?

You never said you wanted new. A lot harder to get but not impossible. Be better to just buy some mint used ones. Loads of classic door cards about.

New ones come up very occasionally. There was a blue material gf8/gc8 drivers card on eBay last month for £200 or best offer. It went.

Parts factories, they just aren't producing the bits any more. A lot of this was during covid.

Given the youngest "classic" impreza models are now 22 years old, Subaru are not abliged to continue making "new" parts unless there is a known demand.
All door cards are shown in red in the parts database meaning they are NLA from the factory.

Absolutely Don agree with you there isn't an expectation for them to support a model for so long but it would be welcomed with all the restoration work thats taking place these days. They have certainly done a U turn. But I remember speaking to the parts guy at the dealership and he would often tell me stories of parts he has sourced for cars that were very old and even older than 20 years. Its since covid supply has dropped massively. One part that comes to mind is the type ra roof flap and fog covers. I could still get them a few years back. Now there is no chance.
