Default Garage Ramps

Hi guys, am looking to purchase some ramps i can drive the car onto for undercar maintenance etc.

However, the front of the car is very low (hawk sti lowered suspension and front splitter)

Can anyone recommend me some suitable ramps that will accommodate the low front end?

Cheers

Lewis

Summit like these ramp extenders may work as an option haps, either that or just jack the front of the car up then sit the car back down on the ramps so you ain't gotta drive into them.

I use these and a lowered car goes fine on them but they aren't tall enough to give you clearance to work under the car.

What you can do is drive the car on them and then use the front central jacking point to lift the car and place it on axle stands.

I bought ramps and literally haven't used them once as the car won't fit, even more so now I've a splitter. I intended to drive the front onto ramps then jack the rear at the diff but no joy. Even the wee extension ramps didn't help.

I have more wood but think it's a bit of a pointless exercise as I may aswell not have metal ramps and just use wood. Also fitted a splitter since so even less chance of getting on without catching something

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Am still a little stumped as to which ramps would work as i don't think using planks of wood onto the ramp will give me enough clearance

the race ramps look very nice, but don't seem to elevate the car high enough to get underneath for oil changes etc

although I haven't looked into it after my photo I posted, I think I had to go up one more rung with planks to be clear, but I worried that the bar at the top that stops you driving off the end may catch the bumper when the wheel drops into the ramp. Since then I've fitted a splitter so I'd be even more worried.
even her standard audi S3 won't go on without planks.

they do different heights, the ones we have are fine for oil changes etc but I need wood to get onto them with coilovers and a splitter.

I used an old fence post on to a rung, if you go down that route make sure you support the wood under the ramp, so when your wheel travels over the wood on to the rung at the ramp the wood doesnt pop up and **** your side skirts lol
