STI Front Splitter Repair?
Morning guys, the front STI splitter/valance on my Legacy TbSTI has lost countless bouts against speed bumps and as such is showing multiple cracks and tears.
I've had a quick search of the forums to see if anyone has attempted repairing one themselves with readily available products, to no immediate luck.
An example of the damage.
I'm looking to see if anyone has and if it's cheaper than the £300odd it would cost to replace with OEM from Nengun Performance. I would also like to know how difficult it would be for a guy that's not familiar with body repair.

I've fixed similar before. You can get fiberglass repair kits that are easy to use (halfords) I fiberglassed behind the crack as its messy then just used isopon filler on the face to smooth out the crack. Then satin black paint the whole thing.
Mine wasn't perfect but couldn't be bothered giving it another go for all u could see.

Add some aluminium mesh into the rear too to help with the rigidity of the join. I've also used aluminium strip that's been heavily scuffed with a coarse flap disc on the grinder too (helps the fibreglass resin to adhere to it).
