Delighted... and a little gutted
Well I picked up my RB320 this afternoon and I am absolutely delighted with the car. Trip home was great although within a mile of garage a stone hit front screen leaving a slight dent (but it happens).
My big concern was whether I could safely negotiate my steep drive with the front splitter on. I can't (hence the little gutted) There are no marks on the splitter but going up and down drive there is a horrible scraping noise and given I have no way of avoiding that the splitter will regrettably have to come off.
So it is back to the garage with the car to have said splitter removed (unless I can get hold of some front tyre ramps and remove myself (assuming it is a straight forward job)). It will spoil the front look a bit but that is better than the fact that each journey will be filled with dread knowing I am risking dragging the splitter off each time I go up and down my drive.
Gutted with that but overall what a car - onwards and upwards. Does removing the splitter count as my first mod

I had the same problem when reversing on but luckily I can drive it at a slight angle and it clears.
Maybe you could use some timber to give it the clearance needed??

I tried that and it was worse . The problem I think is the fact that where it catches (right at bottom of drive) the road and my drive form a 'V' shape.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys - hugely appreciated. I tried at an angle but same result. The timber approach is an interesting one which may work. Ultimately tho I think it will have to come off

Its a shared drive LJF so might have issues there with concrete and its very narrow which doesn't let me come at it at an angle The wood suggestion could be a goer tho - off to my garage to look for something suitable!!!

Speak to other owners ... they might not like it too then get it changed !
My first classic scraped on my parents drive . Got a big railway sleeper and cut it to make a angle then resin anchored it in

Put a picture up of the bottom of your drive up
I am sure there is something that can be done to get you up there, it will look so bare without the front lip spoiler.

1 Get a nice big lump of hardwood screwed down where yr tyres need the extra height
2 Pop rivet something under the spoiler to take the rub..eg steel chequer plate or plastic
3 Cover yr drive in feathers fake grass or gym mats.
