Default Alarm issue

so it’s a 2007 jdm fsti , i taken a cat 1 alarm off another same age fsti and fitted it wire for wire , the original subaru key fob locks and unlocks the doors , the alarm system fob does not , the alarm was working fine before , do i need another item like an actuator to make the alarm fob work , or is it not working as the standard subaru fob is still wired in and working the cl ,the alarm is arming and disarming the only bit not working is the cl control from the alarm fob , any thoughts please ??

from memory you need a drivers side actuator motor so the alarm will actually operate the central locking

not the std factory fit, I 'think' that isn't compatible with an aftermarket system for some reason........the old car probably has a third party actuator in addition to the factory one
