Default Shortest Scooby owners experience?

Hi, haven’t been on here for a LONG a time, used to own a classic (93 JDM WRX).
I recently bought a 2008 WRX hatch as I needed a car for work and being in my 40s now, thought I’d get the car I liked. 6 weeks in and multiple faults later it’s parked up and I’m awaiting the outcome of a complaint to the finance company and on the verge of sending it back
Got me thinking, what’s the shortest time anyone has owned a Scooby for?

Bought one about 2 years ago, drove it like I stole it round the lanes on the test drive for an hour to the point my uncle was holding onto the Jesus bar, let the wife drive it the 200 miles home, started it the next morning, rod knock. Drove it like that for 140 miles (yeah my cars knocking, have some respect and look away lol) until it finally died on the day I was driving it to the location I was swapping the engine, swapped the engine, all good until the idle tensioner pulley went on the motorway taking a rod bearing with it last month. The first I put down to the place I bought it being a bit questionable but the car was still worth keeping/fixing. The second I put down to ish happens, I shoulda/coulda checked it, I didn't as it was less than 3 years and 30k but oh well. You live and learn n all that. Still worth it.

I once owned a kit car for approx 18 hours
Got home, hated it, sold it the next day to a trader for half the money. Many years ago lol

In what way is the finance company responsible for the lemon you appear to have bought?

😂 The car is on Hire Purchase. So until it’s paid for, it’s actually theirs. The law says that I have a right to repair or replace if the faults were there when I bought the car unless the dealer can prove they weren’t. They have a contract with the dealer and I have a contract with the finance company, THAT’S in what way they’re responsible.
