I have had a subscription but it lapsed this month and I haven't bothered to renew it this time around.
There's just not enough traffic to warrant it tbh.

I know, as said, there's other platforms that are free to sell and free to talk, so why would you jump between the 2, bet loads have been lost to social media platforms.

So what are you replacing the Meisters with? I know you were having some trouble setting them up nicely, did you give up in the end?

Yes mate, either too soft & it bounces all over the place or too stiff so the ride’s firm but it won’t corner (back end just feels locked, like there’s no roll & the car doesn’t want to turn).

Even though it corners with the suspension softer it does it sloppy as of how soft it is. (I will add I have a Whiteline ARB on the back & although a stock one would probably free the rear up more to allow me to stiffen then I am fed up of the whole thing & miss how it used to drive).

I bought a set of Pedders EZI-Struts which are their replica of the standard STI struts with their own springs on. I want it back the way it was so I am waiting for a set up Eibach springs to turn up to fit to them.

Granted everyone else likes these coilovers so I must just be a weirdo or something?

Still, if you don’t try these things you’ll never know

Great feedback mate. Funnily enough, I’m not a fan of coilovers either. I have always liked the feel of the standard STi setup on the road. Both of mine have the standard struts/springs although I’ll see how the new one handles once I get it out on track.

Stock STI suspension on a hawk was brilliant. Had BCs on a newage and they were brilliant too.

So when I had them on the classic thought they would be the same. They were terrible, hated them. But once I got them set up I liked them a lot. I think setup is key, my setting might not work for you and vice versa. I'm thinking EDC next but it doesn't get talked about much.

I've been a member of this site for a very long time and my contributions helped to make it the community it became at the height of forums. I felt that I didn't want to pay as a result.

Blitz zzr are very good , they manage a soft ride but handle really well , the only problem getting parts can be hard work as there is Fensport in the uk or japan

ive tried
pedders they work well but can rust quickly
tein basics good on my wagon
tein flex z ok for price quick delivery
bc coilovers better than tein
blitz best all round

it’s all about the set up and getting it right for
what you want , the mrs Fsti with bc 1 click up from softest setting she’s happy , i find it good but a bit on the soft side but definitely better than the standard sti suspension 👍
