Very surprised to read the humorous advisories on the mot, never seen anything like that before and I'm surprised it's allowed on such an important document.
Also slightly concerning as it suggests who ever has mot'd it is probably good mates with the car owner... and as a potential buyer I'd be a bit concerned about buying a car that has been put through multiple mot's by a ''friendly'' tester.

do not think there is anything to worry ,owner spent small fortune on it - near to 3k in turbo and over 2k for chevron top mount if its a race ver. Im sure car has decat downpipe ,Mot friendly garage is a must than.

There was a **** at work who put "Customer clearly likes cheese and pickle sandwiches" on my Passat MOT years ago as he found a wrapper in the passenger footwell. What an idiot.
Nice car, but I'd want a PDF or similar of all that service history - those photo's of MOT's and services etc are beyond shocking.
Looks very fresh, so probably no need to be mindful of heavily salted Scottish roads.

Yeah, given the miles I doubt it was used in winter. Although if I were him I’d be saying that in the ad.
Shame the S204 specific full pillow ball lateral arms have been removed in order to fit a normal ARB whose droplinks don't attach at the hub.

It says the standard ARBs are available though so I guess the OEM lateral arms (that are needed to fit the rear ARB) must be available as well.
due to whiteline adjustable arb they had to swap arms,looks like arb stout mounts are whiteline to-way stronger than oem plus better droplinks,
You can fit pillowball bushes to those arms. Im sure on front is alk ,roll centre kit and arb from whiteline -way better setup than oem.

Way better until it rusts after 3 months, and the droplinks seize. When will people realise that Whiteline parts are downgrades.

With an aftermarket ARB the only way to fit droplinks are to downgrade to normal STi arms.
The full pillow ball arms are superior and are one of the reasons S204 feels so 'fluid' on the road.
Non S204 lateral STi lateral arms exist which are triple pillow ball (the outer bush of the rear arm is a normal rubber one). Unless someone plans to constantly track it (and even that is a debatable reason IMHO), I don't see why anyone would buy a fantastic allround car made with special parts by STi and remove them to replace with aftermarket items.

like i wrote You can fit pillow ball bushes on sti lateral arms ,s204 rear arb ,drop links and oem stout mounts are a weak points , to upgrade it You have to swap for non s204 setup. i will do the same on my s204 but using way stronger Hardrace pillowball lateral and trailing arms,perrin arb ,mounts etc ,rust is not an issue if You prepare parts before fitting

have 11y old adjustable whiteline drop links- nothing saized. oem ones turned to dust ,when people realise they have to try parts on their cars to have an opinion instead of copy and paste what they read on the net, You should know pillow ball bushes do not like salt -rust is a bigger issue there than on whiteline parts

Both hedgecutter and myself speak from experience about the WL products.
I had WL ARBs fitted in my WRX wagon and after a winter they looked like they came from the bottom of the ocean despite weekly underbody washes of the car.
I guess we'll agree to disagree on which are the better products, the specially made S204 items or the WL ones.
