Default Best way to remove wax oil

Car's going up to team kaizen developments (Allan Brutnell) in two weeks we got a week off next week so want to strip as much of the old wax oil off ready for the raptor. What have people used to get it off last time we used petrol

I’ve found WD40 pretty good at removing it. Spray it liberally and let it soak for a bit and it’ll wipe off. Makes an awful mess though.

Nothing to do with Waxoil, but I like the significance of the pink cherry blossom with your car.....basically why Sti's have pink details. Very clever!!

Prob with that is getting all the WD40 oil off after otherwise the raptor wont stick proper....

I just did mine, took a week, stripped to the shell underneath, and I used every combination of degreasers, soap, brake cleaner, and finally paint thinners (and lots of it) with an assortment of brushes, kept wet with thinners, then blasted with pressure washer, and repeat...several hundred times lol

Champion hopefully can get it back as much as yours I just want to get as much off as possible so it save him time instead of having to get the lot off

if you are applying raptor to it aswell, you'll have to scotch the underside, id also recommend 2k epoxy primer before raptor also so it sticks, I've seen loads with raptor that started lifting in chunks as prep was crap
