Hi

I'm an enthusiastic car cleaner & have used Swissol for several years. I wash it every week & wax every month.

During my last service, my dealer over oiled everything & I had oil running down all the doors & fuel cap where all the hinges were coated with too much oil. The car was cleaned last week, but I coulnd't clean off all the oil. I ruined several cloths.

Can anyone advise how I can clean off the oil without damaging the paintwork?

BTW The car is a WR1 - light blue really shows up the oil marks.

Have you tried the Swissol pre wax cleaner? I find it great for cleaning off nearly everything I`ve came across.

You mean the cleanser?

"Cleaner Fluid" is what it says on the bottle. It is for use before waxing. Hope this helps.

Any form of degreasing agent.

Glue and tar remover
A touch of fairy liquid on a rag (wash off afterwards)
Brake cleaner spray (do not use if you have had chips away or cellulose paint repairs )

Will need to re-wax the area afterwards with any method
