Hey all, are our cars going up in value? I’ve noticed some ridiculously priced Subarus recently on eBay BUT are people just trying there luck or is it going to keep happening? I think even the evos are commanding higher prices than normal. I honestly do believe that in the future and I’m talking years the Subaru will command a premium like the Sierra cosworth, escort cosworth etc but in years to come. At the end the day as long as these cars keep getting broke and they become more rare it’s only normal for them to rocket in value

Personally I think it's just chancers at the moment. Some get priced high, then the other sellers follow - as they see the adverts and price their car accordingly and so on. It will stay like it for a while, but then when people don't sell quickly enough, they reduce the price....and then they all seem to come down again.

It's perhaps just greed at the moment, with a hint of supply / demand thrown in, but for now just up and down a bit.
Several years from now? Yes, I think it will start to get interesting for the rarer models, but not really any time soon for mainstream bugs / blobs and hawks etc - but as you say, eventually they will be sought after.
