Default TSL GroupN

Does anyone have a TSL GroupN rear box for sale for a newage?

They seem pretty difficult to track down these days.

Their Back boxes used to be very similar to the Prodrive/Scorpion items in terms of sound if you struggle.

The car originally had a scoobyworld racebox and the rest was original.

Went with centre decat and deresonated mid pipe andsp barely changed, and now I've had an afterburner vortex for about 1.5 years. It sounds good but it's also pretty boomy especially at constant speeds and the car is my daily.

People seem to have quite mixed experiences in terms of whether or not a resonated middle pipe helps, and I've got a cobra sports cat and Harvey decat uppipe to fit eventually which will only make it louder.

I've heard some videos of the tsl group N and it sounds like a lot more of a bark than a boom which I think would be a good compromise. A ninja2 may also work but im not really after boomy but quieter, an aggressive bark would be good.

I had a TSL group N backbox on mine a couple of years back that I got from MattyB from a breaker. Was a lovely system, sounded just perfect on my FSTI. They do come up every now and then on eBay.

Love my TSL on my Classic although without a resonated centre section I'm not sure I could live with it as a daily, it's quite loud on the motorway but then the classic has even less sound deadening than a newage and it is a straight through system from the turbo to the back box.

Someone had one for sale on one of the facebook groups the other day along with a few other bits.

I had sports cat downpipe, de-resonated centre and tsl group n back box and it was the perfect level. Absolutely no drone and perfect for daily.

That’s the setup I’ve got, with 100 cel TSL sports cat and deresonated straight through centre section. It makes for a nice deep sound, not too loud and no drone.

Thanks everyone, I have now managed to find one which a friend of mine has collected for me as it was far away from me but close to where he lives.

I should have it next weekend and hopefully it will give me the sound I'm after once installed. I do very much like the afterburner vortex but my tolerance for it is going down after having it for so long and I'm mindful of how much worse it will be when I do lose the uppipe cat and replace the std. cat with a sports one.

I’ve been running a group n on a daily for 10 years..
fairly quiet but gets raspy on full chat..
I was contemplating a group A replica but I think it’ll be too much..
