Default What Do You Think Of This

Hey guys hope your all well and safe
I’ve just got my Subaru and I’m loving it.

My cousin is thinking of joining the scooby life and we are thinking of viewing this one

I just found a great car on Auto Trader:
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202007141228896

https://www.espcarsbedford.co.uk/use...02007141228896

Does anyone know the car? What do you guys think
of it?

I wouldn't buy a 2.5 unless it had a forged engine

Really not seeing anything about that car or it's price that makes it 'great'

I'm guessing you're either a bit gullible and easily excitable or you're possibly the seller trying to drum up some interest in it?

All depends on what day you get what crowd. Sometimes its the £20,000 other times its said the price is £2.50.

Guys irrespective of whether its his car or not its a new user and you are turning them away. Then we all complain the place is dying.

Back to the car, price seems about right, they are on the up but haven't looked at the advert in detail. Look around the forums about the 2.5, they have known issues.

Welcome to scoobynet and have fun.

No one has actually gone into detail about why its a bad buy. "No information" yeah it might not have paragraphs like most enthusiast adverts but its got mileage, service history and the fact its been remapped. Decent amount of pictures.

Still worth a look

Don't sweat it dude . Long *** day at work with people doing my nut in so wasn't being polite like I usually am . The Market has changed from 10 years ago so trying to find a decent car is harder than it has been . It didn't matter if the advert didn't have lots of information because you would move on to the next because there were so many good adverts out there. But now, if the pictures look ok it might be worth a call or if something in the description catches your attention. Its just the way it is unfortunately. A bunch of drug dealers have bought them to launder money and have them at mental prices that has also affected the market along with breakers buying up decent examples. I remember the £5,000 was newage STI money.

If thats a STI it might be the better buy. Bugeyes are getting more and more popular so they are also increasing in value. There was one for sale on here not long ago for £11,000 but it had work done to it.

I do apologise if I have offended the genuine members here, please excuse my behaviour.

96000 miles, not forged, who mapped it? What power is it running? There’s lots of important information missing from the advert ...it’s a big gamble mate especially for 6 grand. Maybe message the dealer and ask all the relevant questions 👍

Yep fully understand that bud I did call the seller today but wasn’t much luck in term of the info they didn’t know much about it,
so might just give this one a miss to be fair 👍🏾

Give the lad a break - "I just found a great car on Autotrader:" That's the generic text the website/app adds to any sharing you do of the advert in question.

I very much doubt any of the people that have posted on this thread have been offended by what youve said .

Some good advice given all round .

Prices have gone up. Some are selling, some aren't been keeping a look out on them just to get an idea.

Certainly doesn't look like the best cared for example out there based on the MOT history, going to possibly need new metal brake lines as sounds like someone has tried to cover up corrosion with grease, advertising a car with a broken number plate shows that no real preparation has been done by the dealer other than throwing a bucket of water over it, one CV gaiter sounds like it's on its last legs, exhaust appears to be hanging off, front fog light full of water. Does have a Prodrive intercooler pipe so possible had a PPP from the dealer. Personally I'd keep looking.
