jdm is better spec but doesnt have the subaru burble sound however a decent widetrack blobeye sti will be plenty of fun @ 400+bhp and its only gonna be the die hard fans that would notice the differences. i had a 2004 uk blobeye sti running a 2.5 bottom end with avcs heads and a ceramic coated gt3071r @ 440bhp its was a fantastic fast road car and pulled like a train.

whichever you buy just be sensible, even the youngest blobeye is now 15 years old so beware or rust.
