Thank you for the reply, what’s better out of the uk spec and JDM twin? Lastly how much do you
think is a good price for factory standard version of either?

jdm is better spec but doesnt have the subaru burble sound however a decent widetrack blobeye sti will be plenty of fun @ 400+bhp and its only gonna be the die hard fans that would notice the differences. i had a 2004 uk blobeye sti running a 2.5 bottom end with avcs heads and a ceramic coated gt3071r @ 440bhp its was a fantastic fast road car and pulled like a train.

jdm mayne around £12k+
uk widetrack sti in decent condition around £8k+

Thats brilliant, thank you for your help, I think ill
look at uk spec, that burble is the thing that First made me want one when I was younger. I’m sure I will be back with plenty of questions in the not to distant future. Cheers

whichever you buy just be sensible, even the youngest blobeye is now 15 years old so beware or rust.

Forged 2.5 makes an epic road engine at 400, but define best.
