Default 2003 impreza Sti minor refresh (Since January)

Things that I have done that did not cost the earth but made a big difference to the look and experience of owning the car.

Spoiler removed - rusted bolts replaced and new washers and neoprene strip.

New Car Play head unit fitted with cigarette lighter removed and replaced with USB port.

Cleaned the engine and replaced the top and bottom hoses.

New speakers fitted - not the best by any stretch of the imagination but way better than standard.

All plastic trim and rubber coated in C4 trim repair treatment.

Painted the wind screen wipers and the C pillar part behind the rear window that was turning silver!

New headlights as I registered the car in Spain.

Is a daily driver - not a show car but I feel that it looks good for its age.

Looks good. Where did you get the neoprene strip?

Delta rubber - they also made me some neoprene washer similar to the originals that compress. The strip is off the shelf - they have that in stock. You need to email them to have the washers made to order.

That trim looks great, I’ve just ordered some c4 trim repair myself so I can freshen all the plastic up at the weekend. How do you apply it mate? On YouTube some fella uses round cotton pads, is that correct?

I'm in the same boat Johno, my trim ie scuttle panel and door mirror trim have gone a horrible sun bleached grey/silver colour and was tempted to remove them and hit um with some flat black plasti-kote, but if this C4 stuff works i might give that a try first
