Default my classic project :)

firstly im 22 and this is my pride and joy ive put alot of time and effort into this car and all the work has bein done by myself

i baught this car from ebay in dec 09 as spares or repairs.
the car had half of the inside missing and the bottom end had gone on the engine due to not bein serviced correctly

i already had a silver classic which had a not so good shell so i set about rebuilding the one i baught from ebay with all the good stuff from the silver 1

i started the vehicle in dec last yr and its bein rebuilt back from nearly a complete shell nearly every part of the car has bein off or changed.

there is no pictures but the engine from the silver one i had is now in the blue 1 and running perfect i think

ive still got alot of plans for the car front mount simtek the whole inside shall be flocked at some point just takes time and money

p.s sorry about the poor spelling

day 1 this is wat the car looked like when i got it

you can all get the idea of whats bein done from the pictures but will add some discription when needed

dash out and loom replaced as original 1 had bein cut in a few place

all back 2gether

6*9s fitted was a bloody cold job lool was freezing that day

oem plastics all sprayed matt black

all the interior valeted was so dirty

white dials

tripple 60mm pillar pod

tripple 60mm dash pop custom made by cronson7

outside started silver vents changed

new wheels

4pots and 2pots fitted

changed the timming belt the right handside timming was from the last time it was changed

engine all fitted and running and jet washed

red crank pulley rest will be changed soon

new 2.5" afterburner vortex system and decat

after 5 hours of washing and polishing think the glitter reli looks nice when the suns on it

new exhaust fitted

hey

just thought omg the dials are blue, but after I scrolled down a few times it became more and more stylish to me.
Paint looks pretty good for the age (u must have spent ages on polishing it?)
I'd change the tail lights to sti ones, ink the back window (max 30% as I've made bad experiences with to dark inked windows) and change the spoiler at least to a mid level one, then u'll have a beautiful example!

regards from South
Nico

//edit: one thing I forgot: interior plastic sprayed black matt -> looks superb!!! what paint was it, usual spray paint? Think I'll do it, too! Great idea mate

i no the blue dials are not to every1s taste but i like them. ive tried to keep the car pretty much how they should be standard and chav kits on it. reli annoys me when people ruien a bloody good car but hey ho each to there own.
as for the rear lights ive got led afterburners to go in once they have bein sprayed. then spoiler time thinking about spoilerless thow atm not sure what im goin 2 do.
as for the polishing 5 hours had 2 types of auto glyn 2 restore and protect then a normall polish after that. as for the plastics they are just primer and matt black spray.

if any1 dose do the black plastics make sure there is no dirt or grime on the plastics at all and that they get plenty of primer as 1 of mine had some dirt somewhere and its now flaking once its had some heat on it from the heater n so on
