Bought a pre-owned and tuned (?) 2007 Forester Turbo
Hello from Germany,
I have been lurking for a couple of months, because I fell in love with the idea of owning a Forester Turbo. A couple of weeks ago I found one that looked and felt well mentained and I bought it. I've driven 2000km and it feels great. Best car I've owned so far. The guy I bought it from, didn't know what has been done to the car (tuning related). The car is fast (0-100km/h 5.2 with winter-tires and my limited driving ability) and there are two obvious modifications. The tail pipe is embarassingly huge and the intercooler is not stock. I'd like to find out the not so obvious modifications. What could/should I look for, where should I search for modifications. I have to add, that I am a total noob when it comes to tuning, so I would miss the most obvious things.
(sorry for my limited english, but I couldn't find a good forum in my native language)
I'll add some pictures

Welcome. Your English is fine. There's not alot that anyone can tell you that you haven't discovered already, without looking closely at the turbo for identifying marks . If you have an independent Subaru specialist anywhere near you, who custom maps, they would be able to check your ecu. This is a good idea anyway, just for a health check. Alternatively, get a 4 wheel dyno check, which will confirm how much power you have, and compare it with the factory output.

Good choice on the car , as above , get it dyno’d for peace of mind plus see what bhp it’s running , look at the turbo down pipe , does it look original or new plus does it still have a cat , if a fuel pumps been done it’s fairly noisy on turning the ignition on , any idea what boost level you are hitting , last visible performance mods are ; suspending ? roll bars ? plus is the centre section of the exhaust straight through or has it got a bulge in it in that mid section , forged engines tend to rattle a bit more on cold start up but very difficult to confirm it’s forged with out stripping it

Thank you for your imput, I found out, that the Turbo is also non-stock "TD05 -16G"
I'll do a dyno run and search for a subaru enthusiast, who might be able to tell me, what hat has been done
