Default Hawkeye Exaust question for MOT

Hi all,

I’ve got a 2006 hawkeye import that I had to replace the middle section on as it was blowing, the part I got was 2nd hand and has a split box so failed its MOT

I can’t seem to find another but I have found lots on eBay but without the centre box, I believe it’s a silencer and not a CAT reading some of the previous posts

So my question is if I do get a replacement centre piece without the box will it be ok for the MOT?

Thanks

Stuart

mid pipe just has a silencer in. won't make any difference to MOT regardless of which you get (ie. whether it has one or not)

Are the hawk imports not a 4 piece? Is it a relatively short or long pece? Any links to the parts you've found?

Yup
Back box, longish centre section, short pipe with 'Cat/Silencer', then down-pipe.

yeah thats just a silencer, getting a SS one with no resonators or with will make no difference to the map. Make sure you get JDM though, they're a different length to UK afaik.
