Roger Clarke or Scooby Clinic
Been considering getting my Bugeye STI tuned either Stage 1 or Stage 2.
My two closest tuning companies are;
Scooby Clinic which is closest approx 1 hour
Or
Roger Clarke Motorsports which is like 2 hours.
Has anybody used any of these companies and is one better than the other?
I currently have a Standard Car with 30k miles only well maintained it only has a cat back Blitz Nur Spec Exhaust.
I want approx 350bhp so not sure what I need. I know a Sports Cat, Updated Fuel Pump and Sports Filter with a Remap should get me approx 330hp. I think to get higher I need to upgrade the turbo?
Has anybody had a stage 1 and stage 2 tune to compare both and can anybody tell me if an Uprated turbo is worth it.
Will the engine cope ok with a stage 1 and 2 or will I require upgrading things in the engine such as oil cooler better intercooler etc to make it safer. I am looking for ultra safe and reliability therefore if Stage 1 is the only safe option then that's what I would choose.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated. 👍

No such thing as "Stages" with a Subaru, that is for "scene cars".
There are many good mappers and specialists out there who can achieve what you want, don't be restricted to two garages. The car may have low mileage but it is old so consider some uprated injectors (the STi pinks are will be near the limit) , a newer uprated fuel pump but there is no need for an oil cooler unless you do track days or drive like a **** continuously.
The STi Top mount is good for 400bhp - just leave it with a good non oiled panel filter. The turbo choice will be an uprated single scroll version - again there are a few to choose from.
