I have no check engine lights and can’t get the car to run over 3000 rpm like it’s in limp mode .sounds like a fiat panda

my first and easy option is try cleaning boost solenoid first , when you have cleaned it ,by spray carb cleaner into both plastic pipes on it , once you have it off the car , then disconnect the battery, pump brake pedal 30 times leave about 30 mins then re connect the battery and take it for a drive , option two is similar to the post about an 09 plate with similar sounding issues
, i’m assuming you know where boost solenoid is plus you have some carb cleaner , if it is the solenoid sometimes they are just dirty and need cleaning sometimes they are knackered , if it’s not that then other options can be looked at , if boost solenoid is at fault symptoms are max boost around .5 of a bar , car accelerates but no boost coming on

If it sounds like a Fiat Panda...some of these are two cylinder engines(twinair)...so are you saying it sounds like it’s running on two cylinders....??

a bit of background info would help. has it been sitting in a garage a while or were you driving it or giving it the beans before this happened? has it been sitting un driven a while with a flat battery or any changes or parts replaced lately?
